Meet your English-speaking guide in the hotel's lobby.
Transfer to visit Sai Cave, has been discovered only a couple of years ago. To reach the top we have to climb up the hill for about 300 meters. The ascent is a bit strenuous, but it's truly worth going. On the way up there are a lot of beautiful, tropical plants and you can enjoy the tremendous view of the coastline. Inside the cave there are astonishing stalactites and stalagmites, some shaped like elephants, tigers and other animals.
After exploring the cave our tour leads to a mooring. From there our bout trip starts along mangrove swaps. This takes about an hour. A lot of birds are always around and you can see the Khao Dang Mountain, which became well known due to the movie 'Killing Field'.
After the boat trip we go to a Thai farm, where the farmer's prepares lunch for us. After lunch the guide leads the tour group over the farm. There you get some insights into the living conditions in the country. The farmer's family cultivates pineapple, aloe vera and rice.
Then we visit a Chinese temple and a nature trail. There you can learn about plants and wildlife, which are at home in Sam Roi Yod. There are living more than 300 species of birds, a lot of lizards and wild monkeys. And in the sea sometimes dolphins can be spotted.
