Chiang Dao Elephant Safari, Bamboo Rafting & Lisu Hilltribe Tour

Explore Thailand’s natural wonders at Chiang Dao Elephant Training Camp; be with nature and feel the really vast and dense jungle atmosphere. Enjoy Demonstrations of how trained elephants are used as working animals in teak forests. The show includes elephant bathing in the river, working in the jungle, elephant painting, dragging and pushing logs, and responding to commands.

Experience an adventurous Elephant Ride into the jungle for one and a half hours through the beautiful mountain scenery, passing bamboo trees and hanging creepers. Make a stop at the Lisu Hill Tribe Village; they are originated from Tibet and usually live in the mountains around 1,000 meters above sea level. Then return back to the elephant camp.

Take a wonderful trip by Bamboo River Rafting along Mae Ping River for 45 minutes; a relaxing time as the rafts men pole you down through farm houses and stunning green scenery.

Visit the Orchid Nursery to see a large collection of more than 50 different types of colorful exotic year-round-bloom orchids. Then transfer back to the hotel.
